AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE HATTIESBURG CIVIC CHORUS AND CONCERT ASSOCIATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to donate a sum not exceeding One Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($1,600.00), from any available funds, during the calendar year 1999 to the Hattiesburg Civic Chorus and Concert Association.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
